About Chloe Lim
Chloe Lim is an artist and designer based in Pittsburgh, PA and Orange County, CA. Working across traditional and digital mediums, she merges fine art practice with design thinking—creating work that exists at the intersection of cultural storytelling, spatial design, and user experience.
Art Practice: Chloe's work explores memory, cultural identity, and the passage of time through a Korean-American lens. Using mixed medias, she investigates how personal and familial histories are preserved, transformed, and understood across generations. Her projects often draw on Korean cultural objects and traditions—reimagining them as vessels for contemporary narrative and emotional resonance.
Design Work: As a designer, Chloe specializes in UI/UX design and environmental graphics, with experience spanning gallery exhibition design, product design, and digital interfaces. She is drawn to projects that require thoughtful problem-solving and empathy—whether designing assistive tools, wayfinding systems, or community-driven apps.
She previously interned at Brea Gallery, where she contributed to exhibition curation, spatial design, and installation.
